【摘要】:Anadhesivesymbolprovidesanefficientmeansofplacingcompleteinformationaboutadhesivesonengineeringdrawings.Thejointisthebasisofreferenceforthesymboltowhichthearrowlineispointed.Thereferencelineofthesymbolisusedtodesignatethetypeofadhesivetobeused,includinginformationaboutitsphysicalform,chemicaltechnologyfamily,requirementsforsurfacepreparation,applicationmethod(beadversusrollcoat),andcuremethod.Theoptionaltail(shownatleftinFig.1)providesaplacetoincludeadditionalinformationabouttheadhesivethatisnotreferencedinothernotations.RefertoFig.1foranoverviewschematicoftheadhesivesymboldenotedbyamastsupportingacirclewiththeletterx201C;Ax201D;insideforadhesive.Detailbehindeachoftheelementsnoted(forexample,FORM,CHEM,APPLMETH)canbefoundincorrespondingtablesinSection5.FIG.1StandardLocationsofElementsoftheAdhesiveSymbol1.1Thispracticecoversastandardsymbolthatmaybeusedbythedesign-engineeringcommunityonengineeringdrawingstoindicateabondedassemblyforanytypeofadhesive.1.2ThisdesignisbasedoncriteriacontainedinANSI/AWSA2.4aswellasISO15785.1.3ThevaluesgiveninSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
