【摘要】:Thispracticeestablishesastandardequipmentcontrolmethodologytoaidinrequirementsdeterminationandcommunicationwiththeendgoalofthepromulgationofsafe,secure,costeffective,andriskappropriatecontrolandtrackingmethodologies.TheECCsprovidestandardclassesforequipmentbasedoncontrolandtrackingrequirementsfortheequipment.TheECLsprovidestandardnamesanddefinitionsforexistingequipmentcontrolpractices.TheECMrelatestheequipmentcontrolclassestotheequipmentcontrollevels,providingabaselinefordeterminationofsafe,secure,riskappropriate,andcosteffectivecontrolandtrackingofvariousclassesofequipment.Thispracticeencouragesaninclusiveunderstandingandcommunicationofthecontrolandtrackingofequipmentandenablesmeaningfuldiscussionbetweenpartieswithinterestintheequipment.Thispracticeisintendedtofosterandenableadditionalstandardpracticesrelatedtoorbasedonthesetermsandconcepts.1.1Thispracticedescribesequipmentcontrolclasses(ECCs),equipmentcontrollevels(ECLs),andtheirrelationships.1.2Thispracticeisintendedtobeapplicableandappropriateforallequipment-holdingentities.1.3Thispracticecoverspropertycategorizedasequipment.EquipmentasdefinedinTerminologyE2135isnon-expendable,tangiblemoveablepropertyneededfortheperformanceofataskorusefulineffectinganobligation.1.4Thispracticecanbeappliedtoanindividualitemofequipment,togroupingsofequipment,ortoallorasubsetofanentity''sequipment.1.5InaccordancewiththeprovisionsofPracticeE2279,thispracticeclarifiesandenableseffectiveandefficientcontrolandtrackingofequipment.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
